Northeast Traffic
Enforcement Network (NETEN)
The
Governor’s Office of Highway
Safety in cooperation with state and local
law enforcement agencies has organized regional Traffic Enforcement Networks
around the State of Georgia. There are currently sixteen regional traffic
enforcement networks servicing all 159 counties in Georgia. The regional
networks are open to all sworn law enforcement officers and prosecutors and are
designed to enhance traffic enforcement activities through networking, training
and legislation. The networks serve as a catalyst for traffic enforcement
officers to voice their concerns and share ideas with their counterparts from
other agencies in their region. The Coastal Area Traffic Enforcement Network
was the second network to be formed by the
Governor’s Office of Highway
Safety.
Each
Law Enforcement Agency in the State of Georgia is encouraged to participate in a
regional Traffic Enforcement Network. If you would like more information,
please contact the traffic enforcement network coordinator for your region,
Ricky H. Rich, Director of Operations for the Governor’s Office of Highway
Safety.
Northeast Traffic Eforcement Network (N.E.T.E.N) consists
of eleven counties. They are
Hall, Jackson, Banks, Stephens, Rabun, Franklin, Hart, Forsyth, Dawson, White
and HabershamThe
Coordinator for NETEN is

He is currently assigned to the traffic enforcement

December 12, 2009
The Northeast Traffic Enforcement
Network will be hosting its annual quad network vendor show / dinner on
November 12, 2009. The event will be held at the Georgia Mountain Center
located at 301 Main Street in Gainesville. Doors open at
1630 hours for the vendor
show and the dinner begins promptly at
1730 hours. Officers
attending are encouraged to park in the new parking deck or across the
street. Please enter through the parking deck main entrance so you can
access your network table to the sign in sheets and C-12’s. Also at your
network sign in table, tickets for the door prizes will be given out. There
will be plenty of vendors present show casing their products/equipment. In
addition to the great meal there will be loads of door prizes given away
